June 2014 - Equipment update designs

This month Skylaunch have been updating some of their equipment designs to help ensure we are prividing the best and latest equipment.

Skylaunch now offer their range of Aerodynamic and Heavy Duty parachutes manufactured in a new type of light weight, hard wearing woven poly material which we are referring to as 'Hessian'.

The 'Hessian' parachutes have been introduced to be lighter for use with synthetic cables and also much longer lasting on abrasive airfield surfaces, and are available for the same price as the original vinyl (see http://skylaunch.com/ProdParachutes.php )

These new 'Hessian' parachutes are proving to be very popular and we believe will probably replace vinyl parachutes completely, but for now we are offering all material types.

Skylaunch have also developed a new design aluminium cable pulley assembly in cooperation with the British RAF GSA which can directly replace the top pulley in the pulley / roller heads for clubs using synthetic cable

See http://skylaunch.com/technical.php for more details.
